CANBERRA CUP 2011
This will be the 5th year for the annual Canberra Cup has been running. It started as a Junior Tournament in 2007 and has grown to include both Senior and Junior competition. Canberra Cup is one of the first tournaments of the Summer water polo season and in the past 5 years the tournament has grown, attracting many teams from the ACT and regional NSW.
The Canberra Cup tournament’s objective was to support and nurture water polo in ACT and regional NSW. It promotes healthy competition amongst clubs and has an aim to build better networks for water polo communities in territories and towns in NSW.
Canberra Cup has always been a friendly tournament where competitors can catch up with each other after their game over a BBQ or beer. That is the type of environment the tournament promotes.
